i have been a very healthy person since exams ended (excluding pigging out on fattening but absolutely heavenly food. oh the paradox of it!). i ran, swam, bowled and even played golf at the driving range with my dad just now. just hitting some dumb balls could get me perspire like mad. maybe it was the humid weather. and boy was i lousy (i thought i had the golf thing in me)! haha my (golf)balls could barely fly. the furthest one went was what, 50m? but still, i thought i was okay on the whole hehe. oh and my dad let me drove too! though it was a short distance from my house to the taman jurong driving range, the journey sent us breaking into cold sweat. HAHA. alright i shall stop criticising my driving skills in case nobody wanna sit in my car next time.
[edit] wednesday was town-day with baozeng and lirong. we had dinner at a hainanese chicken rice stall and ice cream at far east! yum yum. before that i went to trim my brows (i know they're sort of invisible already so let's just say the trimmed brows are for my viewing pleasure only). a simple yet happy affair hehe. i hadda rush home to give tuition after dinner so was quite sad that we didn't had a chance to spend much time together. went out with miss wong on thursday. headed to *gasp- orchard! sorry lor, our fave hangout place will always be JURONG POINT. all hail JP!
so we had our lunch at sakae sushi, hell yeah! i am perpetually deprived of jap cuisine ever since i got together with reub. we got so hungry waiting for our ramen and don that we kept taking the plates of sushis on the conveyor belt. how to resist! and finally our food came.
minshan had chicken katsu don while i had tempura ramen. i had only 2 tempuras and they didn't even give any sweet sauce. bad, bad, bad. luckily the ramen made up for the pathetic tempuras.after a heartening lunch and feeling at peace with the world as we carried our satisfied stomachs, we embarked on the search for her birthday present- a wallet! after much tottering around on our stilettos,
I finally found the prettiest wallet for her at takashimaya. yah take note, it was ME who spotted the beautiful wallet. everything was good about it except for the price tag. baaah. cost me a bomb. hopefully bena, yx and wz will pay me back the portion they're supposed to chip in too. most importantly, the girl was very pleased with her present =)
and so mission accomplished! we decided to reward ourselves by estopping the torture of our poor soles on heels. wish granted when starbucks came into view.

especially for you, michie! it was the first time seeing such delightful colours on the MRT, at your fave shades of pink too!friday was out with my darling-ling-ling. before that i met up with xinxin to job hunt at the jurong east job agencies. we only went to recruit express and adecco so hopefully those were good enough. i need a decent job to boast my pitiful resume. then reub sent her home since he took the car for the day. on the way to marina square, i saw the ferris-wheel-in-making!
it promised to be bigger than the london eye. we shall wait and see.lunch was at jack's place. both of us had the lunch set. yummylicious. i was too busy eating that i forgot to take food pics. there were photos of humans though.
we then walked around marina square (i forgot how big it is), scouting for a nice wallet (yet again) for reub's mom. last year i was with him too while shopping for his mothers' day gift. so this year i forbade him to buy another perfume haha. in the end we settled on a dark (sexy)red pierre cardin long wallet. nice, but that's of course since i was the one who chose it haha.
happy usrather than continuing to walk around aimlessly, i suggested we bowl. fun game, good exercise!
you can't really see the score for this second game, but it was 96-87. i won for the first one too. MUAHAHA.F1 IS COMING TO SINGAPORE NEXT YEAR! i was overjoyed when the news came out yesterday. i can't wait to see kimi raikkonen and lewis hamilton! swoons* i must thank reub for such good influence.
met bena at night at jp's john little since it was having a sales there plus she needa get some formal clothes. that xiao jie, so long never see her but she still hasn't changed a single bit (don't know if it's good or bad haha. oh alright i'm just kidding). she went from formal clothes to brassieres to undies to make-up stuff. and after exiting from john little, she pulled me into SK jewellery shop to look at wedding bands and rings. things are always so unexpected yet fun whenever i'm with that woman.
reub came to my house this morning to steal episodes of heroes, prison break, supernatural and the like from my bro's computer. then we went to jp to replace his broken atm card (squashed by his mom). lunch was at KFC! haha it had been a while since i last sank my teeth into a zinger burger. glorious zinger!
found a nice pair of earrings at b*dazzled for my mom. it was going at a 30% discount some more! if she doesn't like it, i don't mind wearing it for her. it's always good to buy something for your mom that you like too :)
speaking of which, we'll be going to the boonlay restaurant tomorrow to celebrate mothers' day together with josephine's family. it'll also be the second time the families celebrate moms' day together. jo has also booked a spa session for both her mom and my mom at citispa.
